our environmental commitments

The event industry is known for generating a large amount of waste including packaging, food waste, and promotional materials.

At The French Bootlegger, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact. From the smallest to the largest actions, we are dedicated to adopting greener and more responsible practices

Waste Management & Reduction

Sorting and Recycling

We implement strict sorting and recycling procedures,

with the goal of recycling at least 80% of the waste generated at our events.

Reusable Packaging

The spirits industry offers nowadays many options to reduce extravagant volumes of bottles. We prioritize reusable packaging solutions, such as “ecoTOTS” containers instead of single-use bottles. TFB aims to stay at the forefront of innovation regarding new, more environmentally responsible alternatives.

Reduction of Plastics

We have reduced single-use plastic usage by 40% by opting for eco-friendly alternatives such as biodegradable or recyclable materials. We also ask our suppliers to choose greener and more responsible delivery solutions."

Anti-food waste for fresh ingredients

STOCK MANAGEMENT

Through optimized stock management during our events, we can reduce or even eliminate food waste.

Craft and Waste Reduction: We use practices such as homemade production to adjust volumes and limit waste generation.

By adopting these methods, we prioritize local businesses, significantly reduce our waste, and lower our carbon footprint.

Interest in Organic, Local, and Responsible Brands

ORGANIC & LOCAL PRODUCTS

We prioritize Made in France brands and are always happy to select organic and ethical products.

Today, TFB’s cellar is composed of 50% Made in France products.

At The French Bootlegger, we strive every day to build a space where women can not only work

but also thrive and grow. Our commitments are not just words but concrete actions

for a fairer and more sustainable future in the bartending world and beyond.

Our Commitments to Women

The bartending world remains largely dominated by men, with female talent often underrepresented and undervalued. It is undeniable that the nightlife industry has presented us with specific challenges related to our gender. At The French Bootlegger, we have decided to change this.

Empowerment

Inclusive and Respectful Work Environment

Today, we are committed to creating a healthy, respectful, and attentive work environment for each of our female team members.

At TFB, we have established a genuine safe space where every woman can fully express her talents and achieve her ambitions, while being supported and valued.

In the bartending industry, a significant majority of women have encountered sexual harassment or sexist behavior.

Fighting Harassment and Sexism

We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards these behaviors and train our team members to recognize and respond to them. A support and reporting system is in place to ensure their safety and well-being.

We are committed to making respect and equality concrete realities in our work environment

A

collaborative

model

At TFB, we firmly believe that the best ideas emerge from collaboration.

We have adopted a horizontal structure where ideas are exchanged and discussed freely.

Every voice matters, and every decision is the result of collective reflection

A commitment to fair compensation

Aware of the challenges faced by women wanting to start their own businesses, particularly financial insecurity, we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation to our team members

Currently, 100% of our team receives a salary that is twice the industry average, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to pay equality

Health, Safety, and Well-being at the Core of Our Priorities

The health of our team members is a top priority. Bartending can lead to back issues due to long hours of standing and repetitive handling of heavy loads. To prevent these risks, we have implemented regular training on ergonomic best practices and health prevention sessions.

We also ensure that every team member returns home safely after each event, with systematic follow-up

Community and Social Engagement

We believe in the power of solidarity. At The French Bootlegger, we are committed to supporting women and donate 1% of our revenue to women's organizations that align with our valuesCommunity and Social Engagement
